EXTRACTR ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Plainspoken Foundry Nine. This policy explains what information the EXTRACTR application and website (extractr.plainspokenfoundrynine.com) collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. EXTRACTR is a business tool that uses AI to extract structured data from documents you provide (PDFs, images, and text) against schemas you define.

1. Information we collect

• Account information. Your username (an email address) and, for administrator accounts, a password stored only in hashed form. Used to identify you, sign you in, and keep each organization's data separated.
• Documents and content you provide. The files you upload (PDFs, images, text), the structured data extracted from them, the schemas you define, your extraction jobs and batches, webhooks, and related records. This content is tied to your organization account.
• Photos and files. Images and documents you capture with your device camera or attach from your library for extraction, stored against the extraction job you create.
• Usage and diagnostic data. Limited product-analytics and diagnostic information (for example, sign-in events and basic interaction data) to operate, secure, and improve the service.
• Technical data. Standard server logs such as IP address, device/browser type, and timestamps, used for security and reliability.

2. How we use information

We use the information to provide and maintain the service, authenticate users, run extractions, keep each organization's data separated and secure, maintain records for accountability, diagnose problems, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. AI processing and how information is shared

To perform an extraction, the content of the documents you submit is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) over an encrypted connection solely to return the structured data you requested. We do not use your documents to train models, and we do not sell your data. Your information is otherwise shared only with service providers that help us run EXTRACTR (such as hosting and analytics providers) under appropriate confidentiality obligations, or where required by law. Each organization's data is isolated from every other customer on the platform. If you configure a webhook, extraction results are delivered only to the endpoint you specify.

4. Data security

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Administrator passwords are stored only in hashed form. Access to your data is restricted by authentication, and each organization's data is isolated from all others.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain account and content data for as long as your account is active, subject to any retention period configured for the service. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at [email protected].

6. Children's privacy

EXTRACTR is a business tool intended for use by adults (18+). It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
